When I left teaching to start my own businesses, I found myself on a journey of self-discovery that led me deep into the worlds of mindset, positive psychology and personal growth. But the call to write β and to support others in their writing β never left me. In late 2023, that call became The Curious Wolf.
Now I specialise in helping business owners write thought leadership books that showcase their expertise, shape their legacy and deepen their impact. Whether through 1:1 coaching, group writing sessions or reflective journalling workshops, my mission is the same: to help you feel seen, supported and confident as you write the book that only you can write.
What drives me is witnessing the transformation that writing brings β the shift in self-belief, the excitement when the words finally flow, the pride in seeing ideas take shape on the page. Iβve seen it in students, in workshop participants and now in the brilliant business owners Iβm lucky enough to work with.
Outside of coaching, Iβm usually out walking my two lurchers, Rudi and Pixie (or talking about themβ¦ or photographing themβ¦) or winding down with a good glass of wine. Cheers!
MY STORY
Much as I loved teaching, I felt a strong pull to take my career in a new direction. So at the end of the 2020 academic year, I handed in my notice and stepped away from the classroom.
What I really wanted was to create a space where writing and connection could sit at the heart of everything β a community that nurtured creativity, confidence and wellbeing through words.
But like so many others, my plans shifted as we entered lockdown. My husband Richard and I had a wedding stationery business, Com Bossa, and with weddings on pause, we quickly pivoted to launch a greeting card line, Com Bossa Studio, to help keep us afloat.
It was a total lifesaver and gave us the breathing space to adapt, create and carry on.
Once weddings returned and our stationery business had found its rhythm, it finally felt like the right time to bring The Curious Wolf to life.
I ran my very first Creative Writing workshop in Glasgow in September 2023, as part of the Glasglow Girls' Club takeover at the St. Enoch Centre β and from that moment, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
In 2024, The Curious Wolf grew in ways I could never have imagined.
I was invited to run corporate writing sessions for both Snook and Barclays, and I had the absolute joy of working as a book coach with some incredible writers β from first-timers to already published authors.
I ran Writing for Wellbeing workshops and 1:1 courses and launched Creative Connections: Embark in my community.
I was also by Ellis Gin to host Gin & Journalling sessions β such a hoot, and a gorgeous mix of reflection and fun!
And in between it all, I launched BOOK STRATEGY SESSIONS to help people create a clear, confident plan to begin their book-writing journey.
It was a whirlwind of a year!
In 2025, my focus is on deepening and expanding the ways I support writers. My signature 1:1 programme, FLOURISH, launched in January and guides business owners through the process of writing their thought leadership books with confidence and clarity.
Iβve introduced FLOURISH & FLOW β small group writing days designed to offer focused time, accountability and connection β as well as
BOOK PROPOSAL DAYS for those ready to take the next step toward publication.
I also launched THE CURIOUS WOLF CONNECTS, a monthly creative writing and journalling club that offers a space for reflection, inspiration and creative play.
Itβs shaping up to be a year of bold ideas, meaningful stories and powerful personal growth β and I couldnβt be happier to be on this journey.

Those four years have now led to me being accepted into the University of Oxford for an MSt in Creative Writing - you were always right that I would end up doing English instead of Film by the end of my degree!!
I just really wanted to let you know because I have always viewed you as an extremely important influence on me in my final year of secondary school and I wanted you to know how much I appreciated you as a teacher, I couldn't have done it without you π
And the best of luck with launching the business!! With you at the helm it's bound to be fantastic π.
Whether you're dreaming of writing a book, looking for creative connection or simply want to feel more confident in your words, Iβd love to support you.
Letβs see where your writing can take you.
