Are you looking for a welcoming, relaxed and inspiring space to explore your creativity & wellbeing and express yourself through writing?

Join our monthly Creative Writing & Journalling Club at the beautiful Maison by Glaschu in the centre of Glasgow.

This is not your typical writing class: it's a nurturing, community focused gathering where everyone is warmly encouraged to participate and connect.

Each month, we'll provide thoughtful, engaging creative writing and journalling prompts designed to inspire your imagination, to encourage you to reflect and to connect you with others.

The next date to book is the 10th September at 7.15pm - can you join us?

Come alone, or with a friend, and leave feeling connected, inspired and rejuvenated. Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.

What can you expect?

  • A Friendly Atmosphere: Small, welcoming groups of 3-4 people to comfortably share your writing, if you choose to. (Max capacity - 20, split into groups.)

  • Creative Inspiration: Fresh, intriguing prompts each month to spark your imagination and fuel your wellbeing.

  • Community Connection: Meet like minded individuals, foster new friendships and become part of a supportive creative community.

  • Delicious Treats Included: Enjoy a lovely hot drink and cake as part of your ticket.

  • Book Swap: Bring a book with you; take a different book home with you.

Do I need any writing experience?

No experience required! This club is open to everyone, whether you're picking up a pen for the first time or have been writing or journalling for years.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just bring a notebook and your favourite pen. We'll provide the rest - including the creative prompts and delicious treats!

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Most people come alone, and our welcoming atmosphere means you'll soon feel part of the group.

Do I have to share my writing?

Sharing is encouraged but never compulsory. Do whatever feels comfortable for you. Join us and let your creativity flourish!

Can I focus on either writing or journalling?

Yes, absolutely. There will be prompts for both - it's totally up to you which ones you choose to work on.

  • Frequency: Second Wednesday of the month.

  • Duration: 90 minutes.
