Hey there, I'm Suzanne, a Creative Writing & Writing for Wellbeing tutor.

I help people find their inner voice, to feel a greater sense of confidence, self-belief, positivity and gratitude towards their each and every day.

I find the gold where there's doubt and the belief where there's indecision.

I can do this for you!

From "I don't know where to start" to being accepted to an MSt in Creative Writing in Oxford, and everything in between. I have worked with, encouraged and cheered on countless writers and helped them unleash the power of their voice in my 20+ year teaching career.

When I'm not teaching creative writing, I'm learning and developing my knowledge of positive psychology and I love to bring this into the way that I structure my courses - it's all about exploring our inner creativity and challenging ourselves to be uncomfortable, to push into the unknown and to live life to the full.

My vast experience has enabled me to see every doubt, every block & to develop my own signature path through them to create a fabulous feeling of joy and self worth when the writing really begins.

Each session will be a combination of exploring each of these areas & discussing how best to implement them.

The sessions are fully flexible: we can focus on the areas that you feel would be most beneficial for you.

Suzanne founded The Curious Wolf as she believes that inside every one of us is a curiosity to find out more about ourselves and the world around us, a curiosity to increase our creativity and connection, to engage fully and actively in the exciting journey we’re on called life.

With an MA (hons) degree in Politics & English and a 20 year career in teaching English and ESOL, Suzanne’s knowledge and experience of bringing the amazing transformation that Creative Writing brings is central to her dedication to expanding the areas that she works in.

From exploring key writing techniques to running full day Creative Writing workshops & courses, to help budding authors get started on writing and developing their books, she loves nothing more than to be immersed in this world of creativity.

Leaving her teaching career at the end of 2019 to join her husband in their stationery business, Com Bossa, led to a journey of self discovery, mindset and positive psychology which she is now delighted to bring to a wider audience through her Writing for Wellbeing sessions. Covering concepts such as gratitude, joy lists, sensory writing and journalling prompts, to name but a few, these sessions increase self worth, self confidence and promote a beautiful sense of compassion and empathy.

What drives Suzanne, is her passion for seeing the transformation in the people that she works with that an immersive and interactive workshop or course on Creative Writing or Writing for Wellbeing brings - the increase in confidence, the delight in their eyes when they realise the ability within and the progress that can be made in a short space of time.

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly - the choice is yours. We'll go at the pace that works for you and we can mix and match the time between sessions.
